Roanoke Times - July 7,1908

Marion, Va. - Reported that the Marion & Rye Valley Railroad, owned 
by the United Spruce Lumber Co., will be sold and extended into North 
Carolina. J. C. Campbell is president and general manager at Marion, Va.
