Winton Place station has been closed for about 40 years now. It is no
longer a great place to watch trains. The depot building has been moved
into Sharon Woods.

The mega- train facility is Cincinnati Junction on the west side of
Tylersville Road and I-75.

Dave :

The message below (that begins besides) is from a rail friend of mine in
Cincinnati - I asked him for suggestions for you & this is his response. I
spent a year in Cincy, while in college in the mid 50's, & found it to be a
very scenic, friendly town. I have visited about once every 5 years since
then. Winton Place (north of town) is a great place to watch trains. Enjoy.

Besides the railway Museum of Greater Cincinnati there is a brand new
mega-train facility that opens this weekend. There is a 25,000 sq.ft train
area. This all in G scale.

There is a web site EnterTrainment junction.com. There is also the
Cincinnati Historical Society in Union Terminal that has a ho scale of
rail lines in downtown Cincy in the 30's and 40's

Also at the terminal is Tower A that has a great view of the CSX Queengate
yard and the NS Gest St yard Tower A is open on the weekend . It is operated
by The Cincinnati Railroad Club I believe they have a web site which might
list an evening that they are open.

Railway Museum is open Wed & Sat 10 to 4 . Admission is $ 4.00

Hope this gives you some talking points
