917's new home

Here?is a?link to a few photos of the 917 on?its new site. It is?highly at the I-71 Lexington-Bellville exit?- Ohio 97.

Quite a hodge-podge of parts. Pony truck equalizer beam, piston rods, crosshead guides and other key?parts have been cut. They are being reassembled into a reasonable likeness, but certain to never?be operational again. Tough for the purist to witness, but better than going to the scrapper, of course.?The air reservior was stenciled July '50. No tender made the trip, so the new owner will be improvising one. Hmmm....?

Note that a pony truck from an M made the trip, too. That, I understand, will somehow be used for a tender truck.
