Another thing to remember, by cosmetically restoring the 917, it effectively
kept it from rusting away to nothing. Maybe there may come a time when he'll
be ready to donate it or sell it to another museum. If it sat in the
scrap-yard much longer, who know what might have happened to it.

I am thankful that it has been saved.  I give him credit for spending his
own money and taking on such a daunting task.  This man has put a lot of
effort into this.  It's not a model, its the real thing.  I appreciate his
efforts.  How many others out there would take on this kind of challenge?
