Good heavens! If you're going to refer to the former president of the N&W you ought to know how to spell it.

No. NKP used black and yellow, with various variations of these two colors. The blue and gold you saw is the Pevlar blue that was adopted by the N&W not all that long after the take-over of the NKP and Wabash.
Here's one example of the Pevlar blue scheme, sorry that its a black and white shot.
