Freight Traffic Heavy
The first real congestion on the Sciota division of the Norfolk and Western since the 1907 panic came Tuesday night when both the Portsmouth and Williamson yards were reported blocked. Freight traffic has become remarkably heavy within the past week and several extra crews were added to the service Tuesday while indications are the number will be increased before very long.--Portsmouth (Ohio) Times.
