Old Pipe Inadequate

    The Norfolk and Western has a force of men at work on a new water pipe line from their pumping station in Graham to the shops in Bluefield yard.  The company installed a pump line on their right of way from Graham to Bluefield some four or five years ago, but the size of the pipe has not proven adequate to carry sufficient water since the business of the road has increased so rapidly during the past year.  The new pipe that will be put down is sixteen inches while the old line was laid with an 8 inch pipe.
