Accepts Position
Henry Peery, late of Norfolk, Va., has accepted a position as tie inspector for the Norfolk and Western railway, with headquarters at Princeton. His family will remain here for the present.

New Coal Company
The Superior Thacker Coal and Coke Company has been granted a charter to do business in the state. The company will develop mines in Mingo County.
