Eight Cars Derailed
    A peculiar derailment occurred at Claren Wednesday night when a train with ninety-one cars backed into a derailing switch, eight of the cars leaving the track.  The wreck was reported, but before the wreck train arrived on the scene the engineer and conductor got together and with car jumpers were able to pull the cars and the whole train back onto the track.  The feat seems impossible on the face of it, but reliable reports say that it actually did occur [and the crew probably saved themselves from disciplinary action.].
