Derailment at Keystone!

These are obviously brand spanking new cars--no dirt at all on the underframe.  Incidentally, the image labeled "Truck" gives a good view of the air hose mechanism that moves longitudinally with the coupler during the stroke of the end-of-car cushioning and laterally on a curve to keep the coupled air hoses in a fixed relation to each other so they will stay coupled.  This appears to be a sophisticated solution to the air hose separations (and resulting undesired emergency applications of the brakes) that plagued long cars with end-of-car cushioning in the early days of those cars.
