Signaling on Abington Branch

That signal can be seen at the end of the Abingdon segment of Pocahontas Glory Vol.1 by Herron Rail Services.

There was one signal on the Abingdon Branch.

Signal A08 was a northward signal located eight tenths of a mile south of the junction at Abingdon,  It could display "Approach" and "Stop", and protected the trackage to the junction, at which was a controlled signal allowing movement off the branch onto the passing siding at Abingdon,
