ASKS TEN THOUSAND FOR LOSS OF ARM
------
Peter Moll, a Spaniard and Former Employe of Norfolk and
Western, Sues Railroad
Yesterday at Princeton Attorneys L. J. Holland and Bexton & Roberts, representing Peter Moll, a Spaniard, who until last month was an employe of the Norfolk and Western, entered suit for $10,000 personal damages. The complaint against the Norfolk and Western alleges that the plaintiff lost an arm as a result of an accident last month at the boiler house when, in falling from a boiler, he seized a wire which, it is alleged, was improperly insulated with the result that he was held to it while 2,200 volts passed through his body and so severely burned his arm that he lost it. It is further alleged that another man who tried to release Moll came in contact with a rail in such a manner that he was also shocked and it was necessary to shut off the electricity at the power house before either man could be released. It is alleged that if the wire had been properly insulated, as the plaintiff alleges he had reason to believe it was [sic], he would not have suffered the loss of his arm. Moll is a married man and has a wife and one child. He remains in this city.
