TWO-CENT FARE CASE COMES UP IN OCTOBER
------
Supreme Court Grants Motion Of Attorney General to Advance It
------
SAME DATE FIXED FOR SEVERAL OTHER SUITS
------
Washington, April 10 (Special)--The supreme court of the United States today granted the motion of the Attorney General Conley, of West Virginia, to advance the case of the state of West Virginia against the Chesapeake and Ohio railroad, involving the enforcement of the two-cent fare law, and fixed the date for arguing the case for October 16, next. As other cases are assigned for the same date the case will be argued as soon as possible after the other cases set for the same date are completed. Unless the motion to advance the case had been granted the argument would not have been heard for several years.
[The balance of the article did not pertain to the two-cent fare and is omitted here.]
