"For lack of a cotter key, the knuckle was lost."  Pier 5 at
Lamberts Point is gone now, but many a knuckle went into
a ship's hold as the hopper was rotated. Someone had failed
to put a cotter key in the pin.  Pier 6 ?  As I recall, there are
grates at the dumper that catch the knuckles.    Harry Bundy
