Mr. Vern Howard:  Please contact 'info at nwhs.org' and let's see if we can get
you answers you can use on Class A's.   Right now your questions are too
broad.  Ed King's suggestion to get the Class A ; Mercedes of Steam book is
a good one, too.  Pretty much everything you need to know is in that book.

Need list all 'A' Class dates of final retirement. If info at NWHS, where? 

 

Need 'division' assignments as well at that time.

 

Also could use list of maintenance date(s) for each # when solid pilot
installed (coincidental to last major upgrades or ad hoc?). Looking for
post-war (1946 thru 1950's) installs (and boiler and engine [front/rear]
upgrades in conjunction with).
