TRAINS editor Jim Wrinn has a book out called Steam's Camelot which has a pretty complete record of all the steam excursions.

Has anybody produced a record of the itineraries of 611 and 1218 during the NS steam program of the 1980s? If not, I think this would be a good subject for a N&WHS publication. As well as being a fascinating read it would be a great help in filling in missing information in photo captions.
