ENGINEER BADLY HURT
------
Thomas H. Lyons Struck by Driving Rod of Engine
Thomas H. Lyons, an engineer, whose home is on Third street, this city, was quite badly injured at Nemours yesterday morning about ten o'clock when his engine slipped while he was oiling it, with the result that the main driving rod struck him, injuring his left arm and knee, right arm and knee and his breast. He was taken to his home, but it is not thought his injuries are of a very serious nature, although they are very painful. The engine was standing still when the accident occurred.
------
[Any thoughts as to how this accident could have been caused by a standing engine?]
