H/U Night Photo Session at Link Museum

Just a heads up,
 
A night photo shoot is being planned on very short notice for Friday  
September 16th, 2011.
 
Norfolk Southern is going to do a calendar shoot for their 30th Anniversary 
 and have arranged to bring in a total of four locomotives. Norfolk 
Southern will  be doing their shoot later at the East End Shops turntable.
 
Details about cost and times are still being finalized. A preliminary shoot 
 is planned for the press.
 
A formal press release will be coming shortly but I have permission from  
Kim Parker of the O. Winston Link Museum to "let the cat out of the bag".
 
Three of these locomotives are EMD GP-30's:
 
Roanoke Chapter's N&W GP-30 Number 522
 
Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum's Southern GP-30 Number 2594
 
Strasburg Museum's Conrail GP-30 Number 2233
 
And a yet-to-be determined Norfolk Southern locomotive, most likely a new  
GE.
