Jim; How many of the cars are still in existance? And is there a site that shows where they are? Regards,Russ Goodwin

Most (if not all) of the 15 PM coaches received the logo in June 1946, as did the DE diners 1023 & 1024. After delivery of the 1949 train, the logo was removed from all these cars. The 1949 train, coaches 501 &502, 511 & 512, 531-540, observations 581 & 581 and diners 491 & 492 all were built with the logo. 581 & 582 apparantly kept it until their retirement in 1958 and subsequent sale to Saudi Arabia. In time, it was eventually removed from all the other cars.

    Is there a record of how many of N&W's passenger cars were blazoned with the Powhatan Arrow logo?
