What time is it?

The following is from the current issue of Interchange, the newsletter of the Baltimore Chapter, NRHS:

      What Time is it? 

      There is a control tower in the Chicago area and the tower operator hears a train crew ask over the radio, "what time is it?" 

      The operator not knowing what railroad's train crew asked the question responds,

        If this is the Norfolk Southern, then it is 3:10pm

        If this is the Canadian National, it is 1510

        If this is C S X, the big hand is on the 2 and the little hand is on the 3. 

        If this is Amtrak, it is Tuesday....
