Not to nit-pick, but the Winston-Salem line goes  to...uh...Winston-Salem.  
The Durham line took off in Lynchburg,

I have taken a panoramic view of the this area, looking  east from 
Williamson road bridge. Thumbnail of image is attached to this  email. Image was 
stitched from multiple images, and there is some  distortion at extreme ends of 
image. Double track on left of image  is Shenandoah valley line to 
Hagerstown. On extreme right going by  Firestone sign is Winston-Salem Line to 
Durham. Double track to Norfolk is  right of bay-window caboose.
