"Trick"

The term "trick" was also applied in the Army to refer to shift workers.  i.e.  I work on the 2nd trick.

While stationed on an Air Force base they used the term "flight" rather than "trick".

A couple of cents worth.

We use the phrase "your pulling my leg".  The Russian equivalent is "Your hanging noodles on my ear".
