Evolution of the Rural Retreat Depot

Fortunate to receive an image of an old post card, made perhaps around 1911, 
showing a two-story depot with a water tower(?).  The tower had been shortened 
to a single story by 1949.  Is there a documented history of depot renovations 
in the N&W archives?
