Farmville & Powhatan RR

Driving from Farmville to Cumberland C.H., Some of the cuts and fills 
can still be seen on your right. I was told a number of years ago that 
the tracks were taken up in late 1917 and shipped to France
to be used for Military Railroads during WW1.
