Morse Day at Boyce, Virginia

Good morning, all:****
Morse Day at Boyce depot's "DK" office was well-attended.  About 50 people
trickled in throughout the afternoon which was helpful timing.  The agent's
office gets crowded when there are more than eight in the room at a
time.  More importantly, several older telegraphers stopped by and stayed
most of the afternoon, swapping stories and taking turns on the "wire."  The
cook-out was enhanced by the sunny, mild afternoon with air stirred by
light breezes. If anyone walked away hungry, it was by their own choice.****
Special thanks goes (in no particular order) to Abram Burnett, Mike Cizek,
Bob Cohen, and Chris Hausler for their contributions of time and
effort.  Chris from the Virginia Telephone Museum at Richmond also repaired
a ringer during his visit.  Everyone's attendance was appreciated.  See you
again for Morse Day 2014!****
