Don't forget about the North Carolina branch from Pulaski to
Fries-Galax. Not so much coal, but lots of mixed freight, and
followed the New River pretty much all the way from Hiwassee trestle
to Fries Junction, and was built as a heavy hauler that could handle
Y's.
