More on last runs of 611

I believe that was the December 1964 issue, as I recall. I may still have  
it buried in a box of magazines somewhere. It's been a few years since  I've 
seen it.

There was also a neat article in Trains titled "Man in a Hurry" sometime  
in the 1960's on the run across the dismal swamp before the October 1959 run  
to Williamson. Don't remember the year or issue but it gives a superb 
account  of that run at 90-100 mph as I remember, when D.P. Morgan was editor of  
Trains.
