Whatever the technically correct name, it is the last remaining example in
Virginia. The bridge is located on U.S. Route 340 on the Warren/Page county
line near MP H-75 on the Hagerstown District. The trestle is the (former)
N&W bridge 637 and is also shown in the painting on the cover of the
Shenandoah Valley book

It's a spandrel braced arch; no cantilever component.

Nathan and NW Groups,
It (was) the last of its type of construction (cantilever arch, I
believe), in the entire state. It was saved as an Engineering Landmark by
the Virginia Department of Transportation. See attached photo.
