Shenandoah Division question

There was, the last time I looked, a single siding used for storing 
equipment from time to time. It's a community rather than a 
municipality at this point, has its own very active fire & rescue 
companies.

Was looking thru an old timetable which lists a place called "Dooms", 
located about 3,8 miles north of Waynesboro. Was there ever a known 
station there or even a block station? What (if anything), is known 
about the locale?
