1976 Steam special

According to Jim Wrinn’s Steam’s Camelot, the 630 and 4501 did a round trip from Richmond to Lynchburg over SCL and N&W on May 16, 1976.

I was scanning old slides --of my children  and such and found a few  of these from May 1976.  I assume I took these while driving from   Richmond (med school)  to Lynchburg (home) or the other way around.

Both SRR 4501 and SRR 630 in Farmville on the N&W. Anyone have any details of the trip?
