The SV&NE ceased to exist as a separate entity so I cannot imagine cars 
would still carry that letting 25 years later.   Others with better info 
chime in and correct me.

     It wouldn't be unusual at all  for any car to carry its original 
lettering until the end of its life. When RR's merge there is no 
wholesale relettering done to rolling stock. Just look at all of the 
SOU. cars still rolling around.
