Franklin County Sleeper S1

Dave,I was hoping it was Franklin Co VA because I grew up in Rocky Mount.  However, I found out Columbus OH is in Franklin Co also, and the N&W went there...and is higher profile than the one in Virginia...so I was just wondering.  Thanks for answering.

Mike:

The one in Virginia, located south of Roanoke.  The Roanoke-Winston  Salem 
line runs through it.  Its county seat is Rocky Mount.

Do not confuse it with the City of Franklin, with is in southeastern  
Virginia, and is the "Franklin" of the Norfolk, Franklin and Danville (a.k.a  
Atlantic and Danville).
