It’s impossible to tell exactly what the engine is, but it is definitely not an A.  It could be a Southern engine pre-1926, before they started painting passenger engines green.

Spotted this framed photo (a copy of one published in a newspaper?) in a local auto dealership. Interesting in several respects such as the State Street landscaping, and the horse and buggy plus the open touring automobile vs which N&W locomotive? Looks like an A but timeline says not.
