To Jim Cochran, yes all of Buchanan Branch was CPL. Again after the 82 merger with the Southern signal changes began all over the system.  The first to change on the branch were the automatic signals at Lynn Camp in the every late 80's or early 90's.  The ex-NKP signals were shipped in because these had been recently replaced off the NKP. It seems Many times there is no rhyme or reason to what is done by the RR. Especially in the 70's & 80's standards were often what was convenient.  -Jeff Hensley.
