Subject: [NSAlert] NS Service Alert - Heavy Rains and Bridge Washout Impacting NS Operations in the Midwest

Heavy Rains and Major Bridge Washout Impacting Norfolk Southern Operations in the Midwest   Heavy rains on the Lake Division of Norfolk Southern have resulted in a bridge collapse near Huntington, IN closing the mainline between Ft Wayne, IN and Peru, IN.  NS personnel are on site and resources are being dedicated to repair the bridge and re-open the mainline as soon as possible.  Customers with traffic moving through this area should expect 48 to 72 hour delays.            The latest ETA and routing information is always available through Pacesetter and accessNS.
