Mike,I was born and raised in Abingdon and my father James Walter Woolwine
worked the Saltville branch several years as the engineer.He retired in
1958 as the engineer on the "pea-vine"traveling from Abingdon To
Westchester NC.He was with the N&W for 55 years.God Bless,Sam Woolwine.
