There were 160 16,000-gallon tenders, and 90 18,000-gallon types (60 “fish belly and 30 with the cast steel water bottoms).

Wow. I thought the NWSL 18,000G 26T tender was the most common one. I sort of like that fishbelly frame.

26 tons and 16,000 gallons, and yes, used on several other classes at one time or another, including K1, K2, Y2, Y3, Y4, Z1 and Z2. This was probably the most common large tender in terms of classes that used it.
