Why can’t NS and CSX merge? They could call it “NSX”.
 
At the time Atlantic Coast Line (ACL) and Seaboard Air Line (SAL)
discussed merger, the suggested name for the combined companies
was Atlantic Seaboard System ---- then someone disclosed what
the reporting marks would be.                 Harry Bundy
