611 Lead Truck Work at Shaffers Crossing

Those new bearing/axle assemblies look downright dainty compared to the originals. Looks like there'll be a bit less weight on those leading axles.
I was surprised to see that the lead truck has both internal and external equalizing arms. Why is this? Matt Goodman
