The Phoebe Needles Center

Here's one I never knew about... a school endowed by N&W President Arthur C. Needles in 1917 and named in memory of his daughter, Phoebe. And it's in Callaway, Va (near Boones Mill,) too. A rather well kept secret, I would say ! (The Phoebe Needles facility is now a conference center.)

By the way, can anyone supply President Needles' middle name? I had always thought it to have been Cushman, but some information seems to indicate otherwise.
