"Norfolk & Western Ry. - A contract has been awarded to Mason & Hanger of
Lexington, Ky, for the construction of a second main track from Waverly,
Va., to Disputanta, nine miles." 

Prior to the second main track, N&W had established a block station 1.9
miles east
