The Athearn car is the MDC / Roundhouse Car, just overhauled with separate grabs and metal wheels.

Thanks for the information. I will try to find some Athearn cars. The MDC cars do not appear to have the low side frame that distinguishes the H14s.

Athearn reissued the cars seven years ago in two six car sets with separately applied grab irons and metal wheels.
