Good one, Mike.  N&W only had ten of those USRA 10,000 gallon tenders (they came with the K-2s), and two survive.  The 475 has one, too.

When did they straighten the track out and get her off that awful curve she was on?

Sixteen years ago Abingdon made a smart decision to replace the existing flimsy shed cover over 433 with a steel-framed structure. Before the new cover was installed I made a series of "no-shed" images. I attach one showing the tender in detail. Date of photo: May 2, 2000.
