Passenger service on Buchanan Branch

According to the book "Norfolk and Western Passenger Service 1946-1971" by
Warden as revised bye Ken Miller trains 311 and 312, nicknamed the Tri-State
Limited, ceased operation in 1957.

Does anyone know when passenger service ended on Buchanan Branch? The latest
time table for the branch line I have found was for April 28, 1957.
