Anyone know what train this is?

Thanks, Aubrey. But this raises another question: the location is stated to be Radford and that is the New River. However, Radford is not on the Roanoke-Portsmouth line used by No.23 but rather is three miles or so off the main on the Walton- Bristol line. Did No. 23 take the Bristol line to Radford, then make a reverse movement back out to the main?
