nomenclature question

In the recent re-engineering of the Riverton Junction diamond of the
Manassas to Strasburg line crossing, a fairly new concept was put into
place for the crossing. Does this have a specific name perhaps? I have had
it described to me and I understand it (it is between a heavily traveled
crossing and lightly used one). The lightly used one is of slow speed, max
10 mph as the wheels kind of hop over the/through, the crossing.

This is not for the curved wye sections for the Manassas-Hagerstown
connection or the Manassas-Shenandoah connecting track, but the diamond
crossing.

Any ideas or help appreciated.
