     I'm not a fan of Rockwell, so don't know much about the entirety of 
his work, but outdoor railroad scenes seem far removed from the ones we 
see most often. The well known paintings are of individuals or groups at 
daily life, usually within the confines of human habitations. If he 
produced railroads in the landscape paintings, I think we would know of 
them.
