I have heard similar reports as well. Unfortunately I we will just have to wait and see how this plays out. It would be sad to see excursions canceled. Speaking of 611, has NCTM said anything about having her running on museum trackage during our convention in May?

Is there any truth to this?  If so I would have expected that this email list would be the first to publish it and comments out the yazzo over such a move... while I expect that some sort of partnership with Amtrak would be needed since NS has withdrawn its support of the operation and sold its excursion cars is there anything to be concerned about?  How 'bout possible excursions this year... anyone know anything???
