Peavine train numbers / Naming Contests

Thank you all for your input. I guess Mom was right in that the N&W had a
naming contest.  I'm sure if I could ask her, she'd have more details from
what she remembered.

I do enjoy reading these posts. I also learn so very much. I'll submit more
family stories when the subject is appropriate.

BTW, I joined the N&W Historical Society recently and now have two issues
of the Arrow.  Very nice magazine!
