That would be the Laurel Fork and Mendota. In my work with VDOT we encountered some right of way near Saltville that was still titled in that name. I think the Mathieson Corporation had the rights to it and our negotiations was with their legal department.
Deed records in both Smyth and Washington Counties reflect the purchase of rights of way in several locations.
